HOME SAPORI DI CASA: an elegant café with excellent coffee and patisserie, at the ground floor of our building.
URBANIS: historical café between Piazza della Borsa and Piazza dell’Unità, also with outside seating. Well worth visiting in the evening to enjoy their perfectly prepared international cocktails.
CAFFÈ DEGLI SPECCHI: historical nineteenth century coffee house in the heart of Piazza dell’Unità. Run by the Peratoner family of chocolatiers. Unmissable for the fantastic assortment of chocolates, teas and cakes...naturally chocolate based.
CAFFÈ TOMMASEO: historical coffee house founded in 1830, restaurant, café and wine bar, beloved by many of the writers and poets who visited Trieste, including James Joyce, Umberto Saba and Italo Svevo.
ANTICO CAFFÈ TORINESE: historical café founded in 1919, still with the original furnishings. Famous in the evening for its mixology, the art of mixing drinks and cocktails.

MUG: cafe and patisserie in the historical Piazza Hortis, with the spirit of warm and welcoming American bakeries. Enjoy a delicious selection of muffins, cupcakes and other treats. All freshly made in the on-site bakery.
LIFE: New York style coffee shop in piazza Cavana. Enjoy a coffee or grab one of their great sandwiches for a quick lunch, excellent selection of aperitifs in the evening.
IL CICCHETTO: tiny and very fashionable wine bar. Fantastic choice of wines and savoury snacks.
CHOCCOLAT: if you love chocolate, this is the perfect place for you!

RESTAURANTS

PURO: only opened recently, but already one of the top ten restaurants in Trieste. Fantastic meat and fish dishes, selection of ham and cheese, truffle available throughout the year. Excellent selection of wines. (owned by us, 10% discount for the guests)

LA TRATTORIA DI NAPOLI: brand new restaurant along the Ponterosso canal. Chef Rosario Sgambati. (owned by us, 10% discount for the guests)

BUFFET DA PEPI: historical restaurant with a fantastic selection of traditionally cooked pork dishes. Unmissable.
CHIMERA DI BACCO: elegant restaurant that combines traditional cooking and gastronomic experimentation, in the heart of the historical Ghetto quarter. Excellent selection of wines.
LE MARISE: modern osteria. Honest food in a relaxed atmosphere. Great for lunch or a casual dinner.
ZUSHI: Japanese sushi restaurant chain, nice atmosphere and good quality food.
SIORA ROSA: classic Trieste buffet. Traditional boiled meat and home cooking with an informal atmosphere.
GENUINO: “natural” fast food, also with vegetarian selection. Great for a quick bite with top quality, healthy ingredients. 

DI NAPOLI: one of the best pizzerias in Trieste. Top quality ingredients, even in the selection of flour.
MASTRO BIRRAIO: braised meats, soups, bruschetta and sandwiches. Soft lighting and a very well selected range of beers. Only open in the evening.

SHOPS

GRIFFE: much more than designer clothing, you will also find a great selection of accessories and household items. Only menswear.

ROSI SERLI: high fashion women’s wear. Excellent selection of clothing and accessories by leading designers.

ERRETRE: a long-established shop with top brands for men and women.

MALTEMPI: the best shop in Trieste. Gucci, Off-white, St Laurent, Prada, Burberry are only some of the brands featured in the store.

STRANOMAVERO: an innovative and unusual shop, both for the New York loft look of the store and for the selection of items you will find. Hand made jewellery, perfumes and clothing. Only women’s fashion.

ZINELLI E PERIZZI: one of the best shops for furnishing and accessories in Trieste.


VUD DESIGN: carpentry workshop/studio/shop run by couple of architects from Venetia. Specialised in wood. Don’t miss the hand-made chopping boards which they export around the globe.

ILLYTECA: a shop where you can explore all the products of the famous Trieste coffee company. The perfect place to find a present or keepsake from Trieste that is much more than the usual souvenir.
